Never climbed on natural rock before? Our beginner rock climbing experiences in Alicante are a great way to discover the sport, learn the fundamentals and experience the excitement of climbing a real rock face. No previous experience is required: a qualified climbing instructor will guide you throughout the activity, and all the necessary technical equipment is provided.
With Alicante Aventura, you can start climbing in two different settings. Both experiences are suitable for participants aged 10 and over, but each offers a different landscape. Choose the one that appeals to you most.
Choose Elda if…
You love the idea of climbing in a mountain setting and want to learn how to move on natural rock, practise basic climbing techniques and build confidence on your first climbs.
Choose Altea if…
You would prefer your first climbing experience with views of the Mediterranean Sea. The activity takes place at Morro de Toix in Calpe, overlooking the Altea coastline, combining natural rock climbing with spectacular coastal scenery.

Looking for a More Challenging Climbing Adventure?
Magical Mystery Tour at Morro de Toix is a multi-pitch rock climbing experience above the Mediterranean Sea, designed for climbers who already have experience on natural rock and want to take on a different kind of route. The climb takes place on the cliffs of Calpe, overlooking the Altea coastline, accompanied by a specialist climbing guide.
50-Metre Access Abseil
The adventure begins with an approximately 50-metre abseil, much of it free-hanging, to reach the base of the rock face.
Multi-Pitch Rock Climbing
After the descent, the ascent on natural rock begins, taking you back to the top of the cliff.
Minimum Climbing Grade V/V+
This is not a beginner activity. Previous outdoor rock climbing experience, familiarity with multi-pitch routes and comfort with exposure to heights are required. Minimum age: 18 years.
Individual and Group Bookings
You can book directly for 1 or 2 people. For larger groups, Alicante Aventura can arrange the activity with additional guides following a prior enquiry via WhatsApp.
