A Kayak Tour Designed to Enjoy with Your Dog
Travelling with your dog shouldn’t mean missing out on outdoor adventures. This guided kayak tour lets you explore the beautiful coastline of Villajoyosa while sharing the experience with one of the most important members of your family.
The activity starts at Playa del Xarco, one of the few beaches in Villajoyosa where dogs are welcome. Before launching, our guides will explain the basics of paddling and help you get comfortably positioned so your dog can become familiar with the kayak.
We use open, self-draining and highly stable kayaks, making it easy for your dog to settle in and enjoy the ride.
A Relaxed Paddle Along the Villajoyosa Coastline
The route is adapted to the sea conditions and the characteristics of the group. Depending on the day, we may head south towards Playa del Carritxal or paddle north past La Caleta and Playa del Asparalló.
Throughout the tour you’ll discover the cliffs and hidden coves of Villajoyosa from a unique perspective. Whenever conditions allow, we’ll stop at a quiet beach or cove where you and your dog can rest, cool off and enjoy the surroundings.
The aim isn’t to cover a long distance, but to provide a comfortable, relaxed and safe experience for both people and their dogs.
An Experience Adapted to Every Dog
Every dog reacts differently to being on the water. Some feel comfortable straight away, while others need a few minutes to gain confidence. That’s why, before setting off, our guides take the time to explain how to help your dog get into the kayak, where they should sit and how to keep the kayak balanced throughout the trip.
The activity is available in single or double kayaks, depending on the group and the size of your dog. Throughout the tour, the Alicante Aventura guides will be there to assist you whenever needed.
To ensure everyone enjoys the experience, dogs should be sociable, comfortable around people and other dogs, and able to remain calm during the activity.

⚠️Please arrive at least 15 minutes in advance so that you can get to your activity calmly and smoothly.
Once the activity starts, you will have a courtesy time of up to 5 minutes for your arrival. Once this time has elapsed, the guides will have to leave with the group. Therefore, in the event that you do not arrive at the meeting point on time and notify us within 24 hours prior to the activity, no refund, change of time or date will be given.

⚠️ We kindly ask you to download the photos as soon as you receive the corresponding link. Due to the high volume of activities and the number of links generated daily, as well as storage limitations on our guides’ devices, these links are deleted one month after being sent.

In accordance with applicable regulations and requirements for active tourism companies in the Valencian Community, all participants must sign, prior to the start of the activity, the corresponding informed consent and image release form.
This document will be provided by the guides during the pre-activity briefing or by the reception staff, as appropriate.
Signing this document is a mandatory requirement to participate in the activity. If any participant chooses not to sign it, they will not be able to take part in the booked activity. This does not entitle the customer to a refund, date change, or conversion of the booking into a voucher, as it is a compulsory prerequisite for participation.
By completing a booking, the customer confirms that they have read and accepted this condition.
