Coasteering combines different activities as you make your way along the coast, using the natural features of the terrain. In Villajoyosa, cliffs and rocky stretches become the setting for an adventure in constant contact with the Mediterranean.
During the route, you will make your way across the rocks, climb different sections of the cliffs, try deep-water soloing, enter the water, go snorkelling and take on jumps into the sea. Rather than being a single activity, coasteering combines different ways of progressing along the coastline as the adventure unfolds.
One of the things that makes coasteering in Alicante so special is precisely this variety. Within just a few metres, you can go from moving across a rocky formation to finding yourself above the water, taking a refreshing dip and continuing on to explore the next section of the route.
The activity takes place in Villajoyosa, where the combination of cliffs, rocks and sea allows you to discover part of the Alicante coastline from a completely different perspective to the one you get from the beach.

During our excursion in Villajoyosa, you will experience climbing, deep-water soloing, snorkelling and jumps into the sea as you explore cliffside sections beside the Mediterranean.
The activity takes place in Villajoyosa, Alicante, along a stretch of coastline with cliffs and rocky formations beside the sea. The meeting point is the Torres to Aguiló hiking trail.
The coasteering excursion in Villajoyosa lasts approximately 4 hours.
The activity is rated as easy. Throughout the route, you will be accompanied by a qualified activity guide who will give you the instructions you need for each part of the experience.
The route combines climbing, deep-water soloing, snorkelling and jumps into the sea. The natural features of the coastline allow you to alternate between sections of progression across the rocks and others in direct contact with the water.
Alicante Aventura provides the necessary technical equipment: wetsuit, canyoning harness and certified helmet. The activity also includes the support of a qualified activity guide, accident insurance and public liability insurance.
You should bring canyoning boots or comfortable sports shoes with good grip in wet conditions; flip-flops and neoprene water shoes are not permitted. You will also need comfortable clothing or swimwear to wear under the wetsuit, a towel, dry clothes, at least 1.5 litres of water and a light snack. Depending on the time of year, sunscreen is also recommended.
Yes. Photos taken during the activity are included and will be sent afterwards via a link to the WhatsApp number provided with your booking or, if you do not use WhatsApp, by email. We recommend downloading them when you receive the link, as it is deleted one month after being sent.
We recommend arriving at the meeting point at least 15 minutes before the scheduled start time so that the activity can begin without delays. Please check your booking information and the activity terms and conditions for the policy that applies if you arrive late.
Yes. Before starting the activity, all participants must sign the informed consent and image-use authorisation document provided by Alicante Aventura. Signing this document is a mandatory requirement for taking part in the activity.

Once the activity starts, you will have a courtesy time of up to 5 minutes for your arrival. Once this time has elapsed, the guides will have to leave with the group. Therefore, in the event that you do not arrive at the meeting point on time and notify us within 24 hours prior to the activity, no refund, change of time or date will be given.

General requirements
In accordance with applicable regulations and requirements for active tourism companies in the Valencian Community, all participants must sign, prior to the start of the activity, the corresponding informed consent and image release form.
This document will be provided by the guides during the pre-activity briefing or by the reception staff, as appropriate.
Signing this document is a mandatory requirement to participate in the activity. If any participant chooses not to sign it, they will not be able to take part in the booked activity. This does not entitle the customer to a refund, date change, or conversion of the booking into a voucher, as it is a compulsory prerequisite for participation.
By completing a booking, the customer confirms that they have read and accepted this condition.
