El Cañón de Almadenes Via Ferrata, Murcia!

Get ready for a unique adventure by climbing the steep walls of the Almadenes Canyon, a breathtaking Jurassic environment that offers spectacular views over the Segura River. The route begins with a thrilling 100-metre horizontal traverse at a height of between 15 and 30 metres above the waters of the Segura, allowing you to enjoy the natural beauty from a unique perspective.

1st Section:
The route begins with a descending path secured to the steel cable. We then enter the horizontal section. This section continues with an inclined and, later, vertical ascending section, parallel to the Barranco de la Higuera waterfall. After crossing a horizontal section over the pool of the ravine, the ascent culminates in a vertical section that takes us to the end of the first section, with a difficulty level of K2, ideal for gaining confidence on the route.

2nd Section:
Next, a monkey bridge is crossed, which gives way to an ascending and inclined section along the ridge. In this section there are only hand holds and some occasional foot holds, where support must be sought in the rock crevice. The route ends in an inclined vertical section that leads to the end of the second section, with a difficulty level of K3, increasing the excitement of the route.

This via ferrata, located at the end of the Almadenes Canyon, combines exciting challenges with the serenity of a spectacular natural landscape. In addition, you can complement your experience with other activities in the area, which stands out for its unique orography and biodiversity.

With Alicante Aventura, every step is an opportunity to awaken your emotions, come and discover all that the Almadenes Canyon has to offer!
