Falconera via ferrata, an easy but fun trip with suspension bridges, zip line and hinge
The Gandía facility is located on the western face of the Molló de la Creu, very close to Penya Roja, a popular climbing spot.
The Molló de la Creu is a 456 m high hill formed by limestone materials in the municipality of Gandía in the province of Valencia. Its name comes from a cross that was on its summit for many years, but now only part of it remains, probably due to a lightning strike.
What is the Falconera Via Ferrata in Marxuquera like?
The Falconera via ferrata, classified as level k2-k3, is a simple via ferrata with stunning views of the Marxuquera Valley.
You will start your ascent from la Escalada Campsite, where you can park and walk up in about 15-20 minutes to the start of the via ferrata, where a very fun route awaits you, surrounded by nature and silence.
Three bridges: a 15 metre Tibetan bridge, a 35 metre suspension bridge and a 16 metre monkey bridge; a hinge similar to that of the via ferrata in Redován and an incredible 125 metre zip line make this a very complete via ferrata that will make you enjoy yourself in the middle of nature.
