Relleu via ferrata

The Via Ferrata of the Penya del Figueret is very close to the town of Relleu. The best way to get to this town is to take the AP-7 to Villajoyosa and then take the CV-770 and CV-775 roads towards Relleu.

Once in the village, take the road to Aigües and follow the signs to “Figueret”. Close by is the Estret de Relleu canyon, so you can take advantage of the trip and have a full day of adventures.

What is the Relleu via ferrata like?

It is a via ferrata classified with difficulty K2, so it is suitable for beginners and teenagers. The tour is both horizontal and vertical, having a fast ending that leaves very good taste in the mouth and wants more.

To begin, a vertical stretch of about 50 meters begins through a stone wall. There are different steps, with well-placed staples that will not be too difficult. Once at the top of the crest, you can take a breath and contemplate the bird’s eye view offered by this via ferrata.

We will continue to cross the ridge horizontally, about 150 meters, where we will find some equipped springs. It is quite wide, so you can enjoy the scenery without too many worries.

Once the crest is finished, you have to go down through a 27-metre rappel. It does not have much inclination, being perfect to learn the technique and finish the Via Ferrata of the Penya Del Figueret as it deserves. Then, the return is via a path through the woods.
