Quick Details
Come and enjoy this unique experience with the kayak trip from Moraira to Benitachell on the Costa Blanca!
Embark on a sea crossing as exciting as it is intense, from the picturesque El Portet Cove in Moraira to the fascinating Llebeig Cove in Poble Nou de Benitatxell, exploring the Punta de Moraira and the mysterious Les Rates Penades Cave.
Enjoy breathtaking views of the Cap d’Or Tower, discovering old fishermen’s huts and stone stalls. At Cala Llebeig, immerse yourself in its wild charm, with an intriguing history involving pirates, smugglers and more. It’s at this point that you’ll relax, snorkel and recharge your batteries before continuing on, because the crossing moves on to the final stretch from Llebeig Cove to the imposing Moraig Fault, a large 70m rock face, leaving you to marvel at the beauties of Moraig Cove and Los Testos Cove along the way.
However, if there is one place that stands out on this kayak route, it is the Els Arcs Cave. When you see it you will know why it is the star of the route, but it is when you step on it that you will really start to enjoy it.
The Cova dels Arcs at a glance…
With three rock arches emerging from the water, this is a karstic cavity that was created through the erosion of the waves, forming a place protected from the waves and formerly used by sailors to shelter from bad weather. Between its arches you can enjoy a splendid spectacle of rays of light that you will never forget.
Access is through the so-called Sala dels Immersionistes (Diving Room), which is an ideal place for snorkelling, although you have to be careful when the sea is rough. It is also home to one of the longest underground watercourses in Spain, ideal for those with experience in marine speleology.
