Kayak trip with dogs

At Alicante Aventura we think of all the members of the family, including your furry friend!

They are also part of the family and deserve to enjoy holidays and activities that make them happy. So, if you come accompanied by your furry friend, surprise them with this aquatic adventure that they will undoubtedly also enjoy.

Starting at the Xarco beach in Villajoyosa, one of the few beaches that allow dogs, you will receive an introductory briefing to familiarise yourself with the basic paddling technique and to help your dog adapt to the kayak.

You will paddle south, enjoying the breathtaking views of the cliffs of the Alicante coastline until you reach the quiet Carritxal beach. Another option is to head north, passing La Caleta beach and El Asparalló beach, where you can take a light and refreshing ride.

During the trip, you can play games with your dog and, if possible, stop at a quiet cove or beach to rest

The kayaks are self-bailing and open kayaks, specially designed to make your dog feel comfortable and safe. Both single and double kayaks are available so you can come alone or with your partner and your pet.

In addition, this activity will also allow you to get to know your own pet better. Being in a very different environment and most likely your first time kayaking, you will be able to observe behaviours in your dog that you would never have known in other situations.
